จุฬาฯ ยกระดับ 'ป่าปลูกอย่างยั่งยืน' ในสระบุรี เดินหน้าต่อ ยอดสู่การเรียนรู้นานาชาติ ต้อนรับ นักศึกษา 12 ประเทศ ร่วมปลูกป่า

            เมื่อวันที่  22 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ.โคกหนองนา ป่าชุมชน 53 ไร่ ตำบลงิ้วงาม  รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. พงษ์ชัย ดำรงโรจน์วัฒนา รองผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เครือข่ายการเรียนรู้เพื่อภูมิภาค จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยและคณะเจ้าหน้าที่โครงการฯ พร้อมนายโพทอง ละอองปลิว  กำนัน ตำบลงิ้วงาม นายสำนวน  ครองบุญ  ประธาน คณะกรรมการ นางเกษร สุขสำราญ ผู้ประสานงาน  โครงการฯ โคกหนองนา ป่าชุมชน 53 ไร่ ตำบลงิ้วงาม ให้การต้อนรับ  ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นพดล กิตนะ  ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เครือข่ายการเรียนรู้เพื่อภูมิภาค จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย พร้อม คณะนักศึกษา จาก นานาชาติ จาก 16 มหาวิทยาลัย 12 ประเทศ กว่า 70  คน ร่วมปลูกป่า ต้นยางนา และเรียนรู้วิถีชุมชน การมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน  การเกษตรแบบยั่งยืน การรักษาข้าวพันธ์พื้นเมือง  ของ ตำบลงิ้วงาม อ.เสาไห้ จังหวัดสระบุรี

            ภายหลังการจัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ "การวางแผนจัดการป่าปลูกอย่างมีส่วนร่วม" ที่จังหวัดสระบุรี ซึ่งเพิ่งแล้วเสร็จไปเมื่อวานนี้ วันนี้พื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมได้ต้อนรับคณะนักศึกษานานาชาติจาก 12 ประเทศ ที่ร่วมหลักสูตรเรียนรู้เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDG) สำหรับพลเมืองโลก ของสมาคมมหาวิทยาลัยขอบมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก (APRU) ที่เดินทางมาศึกษาดูงานและเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม ณ ศูนย์เครือข่ายการเรียนรู้เพื่อภูมิภาค (CLNR) จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ในพื้นที่สระบุรี เพื่อทำความเข้าใจบทบาทของการวิจัย การฝึกอบรม และการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

            การมาเยือนของคณะนักศึกษานานาชาติในวันนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ได้รับทราบความรู้เบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับศูนย์เครือข่ายการเรียนรู้เพื่อภูมิภาค และทำความเข้าใจปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจที่เพียงพอทั้งในด้านแนวคิดและแนวปฏิบัติ ซึ่งเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในประเทศไทย

            ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. นพดล กิตนะ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เครือข่ายการเรียนรู้เพื่อภูมิภาค (CLNR) จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้ให้การต้อนรับและให้ความรู้แก่คณะนักศึกษา โดยเน้นย้ำถึงบทบาทของศูนย์ฯ ในการเป็นกลไกสำคัญที่เชื่อมโยงงานวิจัย นวัตกรรม และการบริการวิชาการเข้ากับการพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน "การมาศึกษาดูงานของนักศึกษานานาชาติในวันนี้ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสนใจในแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงและการจัดการทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืนของไทย ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่เราพร้อมจะแบ่งปันและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับนานาชาติ" ผศ.ดร. นพดล กล่าว

            นอกจากนี้ คณะนักศึกษายังได้รับโอกาสเรียนรู้นวัตกรรมทางวิชาการและบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยในการพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนผู้ประกอบการด้านเกษตรและอาหารเพื่อความยั่งยืน ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นที่สอดคล้องกับความท้าทายระดับโลกในปัจจุบัน

            ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ศุภวรรณ วิเศษน้อย จากสำนักวิชาทรัพยากรการเกษตร จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้บรรยายให้ความรู้ในส่วนนี้  โดยเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการนำความรู้ทางวิชาการมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการรุ่นใหม่ให้มีศักยภาพในการผลิตอาหารที่ปลอดภัยและยั่งยืน พร้อมทั้งสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับผลผลิตทางการเกษตร

            การศึกษาดูงานในวันนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมทั้งตอกย้ำความสัมพันธ์อันดีและโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้านการเกษตรและสิ่งแวดล้อมระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศในภูมิภาคแปซิฟิก

Following yesterday's successful "Participatory Forest Planting Planning" workshop here in the province, today, the activity site welcomed a delegation of international students from 12 countries attending the Associations of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) SDG Education for Global Citizenship. They are here to study and gain further insights of activities at the Center of Learning Network for the Region (CLNR), Chulalongkorn University in Saraburi. Their visit aims to understand the center's role in research, training, and contributing to sustainable development.

The international students' visit today is specifically designed to provide them with foundational knowledge about the CLNR and to deepen their understanding of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, encompassing both its concepts and practical applications – a crucial foundation for sustainable development in Thailand.

We had the opportunity to speak with Assistant Professor Dr. Noppadon Kitana, Director of the Center of Learning Network for the Region (CLNR), Chulalongkorn University. He welcomed and provided insights to the students, emphasizing the center's vital role as a mechanism connecting research, innovation, and academic services with sustainable community development.

(Soundbite - Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppadon Kitana): "The study visit by international students today reflects their interest in Thailand's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and sustainable resource management. This is something we are eager to share and exchange knowledge about internationally."

Reporter: In addition to this, the students also had the valuable opportunity to learn about academic innovations and the university's role in enhancing the potential of young agricultural and food entrepreneurs for sustainability, a topic highly relevant to current global challenges.

Assistant Professor Dr. Supawan Visetnoi from Chulalongkorn University's School of Agricultural Resources, delivered a lecture on this aspect. She highlighted the importance of applying academic knowledge to empower new-generation entrepreneurs, enabling them to produce safe and sustainable food while simultaneously adding value to agricultural products.

Today's study visit marks another significant step, demonstrating Chulalongkorn University's commitment to being a hub for sustainable learning and development, both regionally and internationally. It also reinforces the strong relationship and opportunities for knowledge exchange in agriculture and environment between Thailand and international communities.
